OCYA’s rights video contest closed February 29, 2016. Watch the winning videos here.
The Office of the Child and Youth Advocate (OCYA) wants you to “Learn Your Rights!” through a video contest that celebrates the rights of every young person in Canada and around the world. When their rights are exercised children and youth are able to be safe, healthy, and heard.
Article 42 in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) is the right to know about your rights and for adults to help you learn them.
This year we are having a video contest for you to put one of the 54 articles in the CRC in your own words – use your imagination – you can use a song, poetry, art, short script, etc.!
